Alpha Overmind is an agent development environment (ADE): it runs your Claude Code, Codex, Grok and Copilot agents across all your repos, gives each one a voice, reviews their work before it lands, and lets you steer it all from your phone or your glasses. Built for the solo developer who ships like a team.

Works with Anthropic Claude Code, OpenAI Codex (ChatGPT), xAI Grok and GitHub Copilot, more engines coming. Bring your own installation and subscription. macOS 13+. Subscription with a 7-day free trial.

Built for one developer with a fleet of agents

No pull requests, no stand-ups. Agents do the work in isolated worktrees, you read the diff in the review inbox, approve, merge, done. Alpha Overmind is the command center for that way of working, whether you run Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Copilot, or all four side by side.

Every session, one console

Run and watch all your coding agent sessions across every repo in one beautiful macOS app. Live transcripts, tool calls, costs and context, always in view.

Agents with voices

Give each agent its own voice and hear progress spoken out loud. Talk back: on-device speech to text turns your words into prompts.

The attention queue

Permission requests, questions and finished work land in one prioritized queue. Nothing waits silently and nothing slips by.

Your agents, in your pocket

The phone companion shows every running session live. Approve, deny, answer questions, steer running work or start new sessions from anywhere.

The Overmind concierge

One agent that sees every project. Ask what changed today, kick off work in any repo, or let it route tasks to the right agent.

Review, then merge. No PRs.

Every finished turn lands in a review inbox with the diff. Approve, request changes or discard; a worktree branch merges into your checkout in one click.

A queue that respects your plan

Line up tasks with dependencies on a board. Posts start when their turn comes, hand their result to the next one, and pause when your five-hour window runs low.

Pushes that respect your code

Get notified the moment an agent needs you. Payloads carry only the agent's name and a category, never a word of your transcript.

Supported coding agents

Alpha Overmind drives the official agent CLIs already installed on your Mac, under your own accounts and subscriptions.

Claude Code

Anthropic's coding agent. Run headless sessions or full interactive terminals with your existing Claude subscription.

Codex

OpenAI's coding agent, included with ChatGPT plans. Sessions, approvals and sub-agents, all in the same console.

Grok

xAI's coding agent, included with SuperGrok and X Premium+. Same approvals, voices, terminals and phone companion as the rest.

GitHub Copilot

GitHub's coding agent, available on every Copilot plan. Claude, GPT and Gemini models under one GitHub seat, with the same approvals, voices and phone companion.

More engines coming

The engine layer is an open registry. New coding agents plug into the same sessions, queue, voices and phone companion.

The phone app pairs with YOUR Mac

Scan a QR code and your phone talks straight to your computer over an end-to-end encrypted link: on your Wi-Fi, or from anywhere over your own Tailscale or VPN. Our servers are never in the path. Requires an Alpha Overmind Pro subscription, bought in the app.

  • The phone app in 20 seconds

  • Every session, in your pocket

  • Command your agents anywhere

  • Talk to your agents

  • Pairs with your own Mac

  • Start work from the couch

  • Watch every move, live

  • Approve with one tap

AI glasses and headsets: your agents, hands free

Connect AI glasses or any Bluetooth headset to the phone app and leave the phone in your pocket. Replies play in your ears, you talk back through the headset's microphone, and display glasses also write every reply in your field of view. Part of Alpha Overmind Pro.

  • Read it

On display glasses, every spoken reply is written on the display as it starts, with your own sentence under it. Or turn the text off and just listen.

  • Hear it

Agent voices play in the glasses or your earbuds over Bluetooth, the same voices your Mac renders for the phone.

  • Say it

Say the wake word and talk. Say an agent's name to address it, โ€œvoice onโ€ to keep the mic open, or โ€œvoice swedishโ€ to switch language. Recognition runs on the phone.

  • Pocket mode

The phone stays locked in your pocket. The glasses or headset talk to the phone, the phone talks to your Mac, and nothing goes through our servers.

Frequently asked questions

What is Alpha Overmind?

Alpha Overmind is an agent development environment (ADE) for macOS, built for vibe coding across many projects: it runs and displays all of your coding agent sessions across every repository in one console, with live transcripts, per-agent voices, a prioritized attention queue, a review inbox for finished work, a task queue, and a phone companion for approving and steering work from anywhere.

What is an agent development environment (ADE)?

An agent development environment, or ADE, is to coding agents what an IDE is to code: the place where you run, watch, steer and review AI coding agents instead of editing files yourself. Alpha Overmind is an ADE for the Mac. It runs Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, xAI Grok and GitHub Copilot sessions across every repository, shows their transcripts and tool calls live, queues what needs your attention, reviews finished work with the diff before it lands, and follows you to your phone and AI glasses.

Which coding agents does Alpha Overmind support?

Alpha Overmind supports Anthropic's Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex (included with ChatGPT plans), xAI's Grok (included with SuperGrok and X Premium+) and GitHub Copilot (available on every Copilot plan). The engine layer is an open registry, so more coding agents are coming.

Do I need my own Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Copilot subscription?

Yes. Alpha Overmind drives the official agent CLIs already installed on your Mac, under your own accounts and subscriptions. It never handles your Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI or GitHub credentials.

Does my code or conversation history pass through your servers?

No. Your code, prompts and agent transcripts never touch our servers. The phone app pairs directly with your own Mac over an end-to-end encrypted link; we run no relay and no tunnel.

Does Alpha Overmind work with AI glasses?

Yes, and with any Bluetooth headset. Rokid Glasses pair with the phone app, so you can leave the phone in your pocket: replies are written on the glasses' display and play in their speakers, and you talk back through the glasses' microphone, addressing agents by name. Rokid AI Glasses Style, AirPods and any other Bluetooth headset work voice only: replies in your ears, prompts through the headset's microphone. iPhone first. The glasses talk to the phone and the phone to your Mac; nothing goes through our servers. Part of Alpha Overmind Pro.

How does the phone app connect to my Mac?

Scan a QR code once and your phone talks straight to your computer over an end-to-end encrypted link: on your Wi-Fi, or from anywhere over your own Tailscale or VPN.

Is Alpha Overmind free?

No. Alpha Overmind for Mac is a subscription: $19 per month, or $149 per year with a 7-day free trial, cancel any time. The phone companion is a separate subscription, Alpha Overmind Pro, bought in the app. The two do not unlock each other. Everything is spelled out on the pricing page.

How does the free trial work?

The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial: the Mac app runs with every feature for 7 days. A card is taken up front and the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends, at the price shown at checkout. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing. The monthly plan has no trial.

Zero-knowledge by architecture

Your code, prompts and transcripts never touch our servers. We store no way to reach your Mac: no addresses, no keys, no relay, no tunnel. The cloud only handles your account, your subscription and push notifications with content-free payloads. Even agent voices render on your own Mac: the free macOS voices by default, or your own ElevenLabs or Cartesia key if you want studio ones.
