Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Alpha Overmind macOS application, the Alpha Overmind mobile application, and alphaovermind.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Pied Apps AB ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. What Alpha Overmind is
Alpha Overmind is an interface for coding agent software that you have installed and licensed yourself, such as Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex. The desktop app runs these agents on your own computer under your own accounts; the mobile app connects directly to your own computer. Alpha Overmind is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI. Your use of Claude Code and Codex remains governed by your agreements with Anthropic and OpenAI respectively, and you are responsible for complying with them.
2. Your account
You need an account for push notifications and subscriptions. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Anonymous accounts exist only on your device until you link an identity; if you lose the device without linking, we cannot recover the account.
3. Subscriptions
Alpha Overmind Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage and cancel them in your store account settings. Prices may vary by region. Where required by law, you may be entitled to a refund from the store; otherwise fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only with computers you own or are authorized to control, and only with agent software you installed and licensed yourself.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or overload our systems, or circumvent rate limits or security measures.
- Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right, or to send abusive push notifications.
5. Your content and your responsibility
Everything your agents do happens on your own computer, under your instructions. You are solely responsible for the code your agents write, the commands they run and the consequences of approving their actions, whether you approve from the desktop or the phone. We strongly recommend reviewing agent actions before approving them.
6. Intellectual property
We own the Service's software, design and branding. We claim no rights over your code, prompts or the output of your agents.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that agents will behave as intended. Direct connectivity depends on your own network configuration (Wi-Fi, VPN), which we do not control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, code, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service. Sections 5 through 8 survive termination.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address. Material changes will be announced in the app, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Contact: Pied Apps AB, support@alphaovermind.com.
